Ekoplaza is a Dutch organic supermarket. Their Headquarters are situated in Veghel, but they have three locations in The Hague. Their main belief is that by treating the environment and soil well, we can produce organic products of great quality, which they subsequently sell at fair prices in their supermarkets.
Why sustainable?
Ekoplaza is a sustainable initiative as they employ local farmers who use methods that protect the ecosystem. All their products are grown without synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, and preservatives, thereby reducing water and soil pollution. They also encourage a plant-based diet by selling many vegetarian and vegan products. Finally, they avoid plastic and prioritize recycled packaging for their products.
Clean Water and Sanitation: Ekoplaza reduces water pollution by avoiding polluting chemicals. In addition, they help protect life under water as well.
Responsible Consumption and Production: Ekoplaza uses recycled materials for the packaging of their products and avoids plastics.
Climate Action: Ekoplaza reduces CO2 emissions by offering lots of vegan products and growing their products sustainably.
