Why sustainable?
Khipu sells products that are manufactured sustainably. They use alpaca wool for their products, which is less harmful to the environment than sheep or goat farming. The brand also donates a part of its profits to initiatives that promote sustainable product development in their home country Peru.
Responsible Consumption and Production: Khipu uses alpaca farming, which is more sustainable than sheep and goat farming; it damages soils less, requires fewer chemicals, and less energy.
Climate action: Khipu strives to limit its carbon emissions by monitoring their use of resources and maximizing the potential of their resources through recycling methods.
