Kringloop Schroeder has multiple second-hand stores throughout The Hague.They have lots of items on offer, including clothes and furniture! On top of providing cheaper items, Schroeder also offers work-study programs and work-experience. They also serve a sa community center, and can offer help, for example with applying for different government aids.
Why sustainable?
All their items are second-hand, which means that they are not contributing to more waste and instead upcycle and recycle already existing materials. In addition, by offering jobs especially to those who have no work experience or have had a difficult time in getting into the job market, they work to reduce poverty and unemployment and offer a better quality of life for many.
