The SecondHand Rose shows the beauty of reusing vintage and used items. The shop gives clothing pieces new lives by reselling them to customers. Everything that is not sold within a 2-3 month timeframe (and, therefore, becomes out of season) is donated to charities.
Why sustainable?
SecondHand Rose's way of reusing clothing items is sustainable as it reduces the need to produce new clothing. This reduces the demand for resources that would have been needed for the manufacturing of new items, benefitting the environment. These second-hand garments also reduce the waste that is produced from throwing away clothing.
Responsible consumption and production: SecondHand Rose reuses, resells, and donates clothing.
Climate Action: SecondHand Rose reduces CO2 emissions during the production process, as the demand for new clothing items decreases.
