The World Sustainability Fund, or WSF, is an NGO which aims to spread information about sustainable development, especially to countries which are trying to improve their sustainable infrastructure. WSF was established in 2011 and is based in the Hague.
Why sustainable?
WSF is sustainable as they run three programs which aim to increase sustainable development across the world; they provide global sustainable country development plans, run sustainability masterclasses and workshops and provide professional advice on sustainable services. So, they aid people, companies, governments and countries in improving their sustainable practices.
Affordable and clean energy: The WSFgives advice on how developing countries can invest in renewable energy schemes, but also finds ways of supplying this energy to more people.
Sustainable Cities and Communities: The WSF helps provide advice and plans on how cities, communities and governments can be more sustainable in their development.
Climate Action: The WSF helps provide plans so that countries do not have to rely on fossil fuels, can reduce their carbon emission and use more renewable energy sources.
